I assume that will be by June 20th since that's the last day of Spring.
It doesn't sound like shipping will happen by then, though it is certainly possible you can announce shipping AND give an update about what has been happening. Or, even if you miss Spring, an update would be needed even if shipping was going to happen a couple weeks later.
Analogies are tough to matchup well and there are many differences in a restaurant meal and developing tech, but let's go with it. So we go to a restaurant but it isn't open on time. Eventually we get in and find out the reason it didn't open was because there was this huge traffic jam on the major road leading to it (this, btw, can be a huge problem in Hawaii where you may only have 2-3 roads that go where you need to go. If one has an accident, it can be completely stopped for hours and the remaining option is jammed up with the rest of traffic going that way).
So, you get in the restaurant and you find out the delay was because of big traffic problem. Don't need to know exactly where it was or what kind of vehicles were involved in an accident. The "gating" (restaurant actually opening) issue was a traffic jam and that's all the info needed.
But you still have a problem because even though you can now get inside the restaurant, they have to get everything started. Maybe normally this can be done in 30 minutes but, no, there are other problems that delay getting your meal. Such as the scheduled cook called in sick so by the time you notify another cook to come in, he's going to arrive late since it is a last minute thing. Don't have to know where he is coming in from - just a rough estimation of how long it will be before he gets there and how long before the meal service can begin.
Short version, while details are great, a more generalized report is what tells us about progress towards shipping. Much better than waiting a long time but not knowing anything about what the delays are about.
Question: We know you are adding treg users from here, but we don't know if you are adding others that are not here. All we know about non-forum treg members is that originally there were "hundreds", but nothing more than that.
Anyway, up until recently, it seemed everything that was reported had to do with connections/bluetooth. Which can be the same thing or different! So maybe that could be explained in a little more detail with a couple examples so we can see whether this is really one problem or separate problems.
Then recently we had the stuff about the special characters. That's the first general "new" thing in a long time. So are there other things that a general label can be put on? We haven't heard about any hardware issues in ages. That's good. Is the hardware still considered good to go?
You can always fly me out (first class, of course) on a Tuesday evening and fly me back on Friday each week and I'll organize these reports for you. Oh, I'll need a hotel room and a Tesla to get me back and forth! Even if it is right next door to you company!
