Thanks for the replies.
I only have the Appstore version 1.0.1 of Multimap/TextBlade app on iPad and no TextBlade yet, and have not seen much info/discussion on Multimap either, so hope to trigger some discussion/feedback about this from WayTools and the TREGers with all my questions above …
Have gradually switched to Colemak over the last six months, using @wmertens Karabiner TextBlade emulation, so will be flashing my TextBlade (whenever it arrives) with Colemak, to be used on iPad, MacBook Air, Windows 10, and Android.
I will mainly write in English, but somtimes in Norwegian using ÆØÅ and occationally Ü and Ö, all easily accessible on Mac and iOS using the Alt modifier. One problem seems to be when swiching to Windows and Android, since ÆØÅÜÖ are mapped to very different keys when using (Right) Alt modier there. (I'm talking about using TextBlade with Colemak, together with each OS' native US QWERTY drivers)
I don't see any obvious way to solve this issue with Multimap and TextBlade remappings, I guess I have to use a Windows remapping tool and the excelent External Keyboard Helper app on Android, and do the Alt + Key for ÆØÅÜÖ to match Apples Alt + Key mappings there.
If you know a way to solve this with TextBlade remappings, please let me know.
PS. Does the right corner Alt modifier on the Spaceblade send Left or Right Alt scancode? Or is that configurable with the Multimap app? (Important when used on Windows and Android)
