I can vouch for Prompt. Very useful ssh client. Very attractive interface too.
But something like Termux would be nice iOS because it seems to bring a good set of Linux tools and environment (and Debian no less), in an integrated fashion. Unless I'm mistaken it brings together apt, ssh, git, vim and a few other things, plus a filesystem.
I'm sure on the iOS, there's an app for (all) that, but they won't be integrated, and certainly there's no common filesystem, at least none I can find.
After reading about Termux, it sure would be nice if I could have:
- a good code editor (seems vim for iPad has been neglected for a while)
- full git functionality
- ssh client that can do localhost
- bash or even zsh
- a file system of some kind that will work with all of the above
I know that apps are individually responsible for storage on iOS, but does anyone know of something that provides some Unix like filesystem that can be used system-wide?
And what text editor are y'all using? And what git app?
