Actually, no. You wouldn't say that if Treg was made up of people who are not customers but were just in the business of testing (whether they worked for an outside firm or within WayTools).
Here's the thing, WT could dave gone that route and you would know NOTHING other that what WT tells you - and ALL of that would be tainted by the fact that everything they told you would have a natural bias. But by sending it out to customers to do this testing, you get reports from people outside the company. It's the same thing (but on a larger scale) as when they had a reporter from Macrumors test it. To me that was a very big deal because it was outside of WT so when they talked about how it felt to use, it counted for much more.
An awful lot of you keep saying that, as if we have forgotten what it was like to wait. Including those who waited more than 3 years before getting in Treg. Well, we haven't forgotten. I check the status page every single day, even though I'm almost positive it won't change before the new firmware goes out. It is on a tab permanently pinned in my browser
That every Tregger says you'll love it (not actually true, btw - only those who have posted on that specific point which many have not) should make you feel good about the product, though it won't make you feel less frustrated. But you can stop taking out your frustration on people who are trying to give you information.
Yes, the same pattern we saw from back in 2016 - people who keep complaining about treggers who are giving you the best info they can. BTW, you might also consider that some of those treggers used to say the same kinds of things before they were selected. And changed their minds after they started testing and learned more.
