Kurtosis, we even have an iPad 1 running, though it doesn't get much use. For years I kept a couple of working Atari 800s and some homebuilt 5.25" floppy drives in clear plexi cases around thinking the grandkids might like to fiddle with them. Unfortunately, as you might expect, they got discarded just before any of the 12 grandchildren expressed an interest. Now one of those grandkids is about to leave to attend Texas Tech on a full-ride computer science scholarship, so I wasn't far wrong, just impatient. When it comes to devices used every day we tend to keep smart phones for 3 years and computers for about 5 before updating. One of our daughters has a beautifully crafted Alienware PC still running Vista. She's reluctant to upgrade either hardware or the O/S, and I don't blame her.
The issue of TB shipping is one that has vexed us all for over a year. Waytools' obsession with perfectionism is getting very old. I still look forward to actually using a TB, assuming I don't die waiting. I learned to be patient after 20 years in the USAF and another 30 in the aerospace industry, but this is ridiculous.
