I'm moving this info to a new thread since, if anyone needs to find it later, it will be a lot easier if it is the first post in a thread.
It's an update to the firmware info I provided in another thread. The previous list was based on email notifications I made. I have since gone through all the posts from WayTools they send in the app and adjusted it (mostly added things).
The chart is now in date order from oldest to newest. It has the firmware number, the date it was released, how many days since the previous update, and then how much the firmware number increased per day since the previous release. Then there is a narrow column where 3 entries have a question mark. These are update notifications I have in email, but didn't see them listed in the app. So I'm not sure if they are legit. They may have sent me an update notification, but then decided to wait to actually let me have access. Then there is a column for the average days for updates to that point. It may not seem like there is a lot of difference from the beginning to the end, but remember that average of 13 days at the end includes all the closer ones before it. So it isn't going to change very much. So I put another column on the end which does it in groups of 5. So 1-6 will be averaged, then 2-7, 3-8, etc. That may be a better way of seeing how the gaps between releases have changed.
Early updates were fairly slow (very slow before the first one since we got the units on March 28 and first update wasn't until May - but I don't include that gap. Steadily came more often and now come less often. And there has been a gap of 40 days SO FAR since the last update and I don't think that one went to everyone.
Make of it what you will. Does a longer gap between releases mean they are not finding new problems? Or does it mean they are having trouble solving the few they have left? I have no idea! Obviously, if you have lots of things to fix, it probably isn't hard to find some you can fix quickly. But when you are down to just a few, it is harder and in some cases, may not be possible, especially if it is the problem of another company.
