In addition to the dedicated functions mentioned by billmeek above, the Ctrl / Alt / Cmd modkey pairings are mirrored on the other side under the keys M , . /
So you can hit Cmd with the right hand and Z / X / C / V with the left.
I suppose it would be better to use the dedicated edit function keys that WT has created in most cases since they are closely aligned with the navigation function keys that you're very likely to be using at the same time (arrows keys etc).
Less finger gymnastics that way.
