when i put in my textblade order, i'd been colemaking for a year or so, and found it a nice improvement over qwerty, not faster, just more comfy & logical (well, apart from where it screwed with my vim cursor keys). i made the change whilst simultaneously switching from plank or semi-ergonomic keyboards to having a kinesis at work and an ergodox at home, working on the same assumption as mentioned above that if you're making a big change, might as well go the whole hog.
however, a short while after placing the order i decided to switch back to qwerty, for the simple reason that everything in the world is qwerty (for definitions of "everything" that are less "The World" and more "my world") so i was feeling that running colemak was something of a nuisance. when i use my wife's computer, or someone at work needs to do something on my pooter or i need to do something on theirs, or when i've got the default keyboard up on whatever touchscreen device i'm furtling with, etc. so i then swapped my colemakky order to qwerty.
howeverever, i still feel that it is just a bit crappy typing in stupid mode... i mean qwerty, so i've added colemak replacement caps to my order. once i have all the kit i can decide which way to go. the textblade may pack a lot of goodness in for the price, but it's not exactly a cheap thing to grab, so i might as well pay a little extra to ensure that i get the best experience i can for my cashy money.
